Allante-
$7500.
Bay Arabian gelding. Dam is Dalla (Royal Alla bloodlines). Sire
is
El
Dente of old Polish bloodlines. A very laid back horse. You would
think
he was a quarter horse. He is very people oriented, calm and
reliable.
Was ridden by the trainer's young son and other youth. A pleasure
to work with. Nephew of one of the top endurance
horses
in Canada - see information on JR, his siblings and performance. A
magical
horse. Started him on endurance in 2005. He has
turned out to be too much fun to sell, has a little bucking habit but
easy to ride, will keep hime as long as my 60 plus year old body can
stand his easy bucking and little fun tantrums, he has gotten a number
of BC's since I have been riding him - he just has a super
personality. It would be
hard to part with him.

athletic
type, Arabian blood shows in his movement. This one will be an
excellent performer

Fog: SOLD August 17, 2004
Nice little colt born to
Lady
Helima, grey Egyptian mare, brother to Diva and Artie and like them he
is going to be black with the greying gene. Very athletic and a
great
prospect. Named for his impending colour.
Canadian
Forte Fox: Aug 20, 2004 Strong light bay colt born to
Pfelina.
Loves to run and will likely make a great endurance or riding
horse.
Asking $2,500. If he lives up to his potential and present
conformation,
he will be a $5,000 plus horse by 5 years old. His name is two
parts
reflecting his marathon runner body type - forte for strong, and his
athletic
parentage on the Canadian side out of the Fox Canadien horse line known
for their finer bodies and athleticism.
Canadian
Firefly: August 19, 2004 Nice strong filly out of JC
Shetana
- see below. This filly will be a strong riding or driving
horse.
She is extremely frienly and also loves to run. A heavier body
type,
she could be a good recreational horse, all around horse, mountain
horse
or multi-day endurance prospect. She is not likely to mature as a
front running greyhound type for high speed endurance, but we do not
expect
that of our Canadian crosses although some may be. This filly
will
likely be a good prospect for a larger rider if she matures into her
foal
size. Sister to Diamonte - note the same diamond shaped blaze and
same strength. She will probably be liver chestnut like her
mother
and 2002 sister. Brook, her 2001 sister is just under 15 hands, about
the
same size and conformation as an Arab, with the exception of larger
bone
and feet. Firefly -$2500. See trainer's
letter on Brook to see what sort of horse Firefly might be.
Canadian
Flirt: SOLD August 14,
2004 Chestnut filly out of Libby
(Polka
Dot Princess) - see below. She has been named for her
personality.
Her barn name is 'Offset' after the offset blaze on her forehead. Very
friendly and a cuddler. She will be a good endurance prospect of
normal size, very arab looking. $2500.
Canadian Farouche: October
20, 2004 Farouche in Arabic means "strong" and this little grey
gelding
is looking really strong. Born in October 2004, he was eating
beet
pulp and grain within a few weeks. He is going to do well. $2000

Mare, Pfelina- $5,000
Pfelina,
Arabian Palomino princess. Elaine never wants to sell her because
of her unique colour and personality. She was premature
(born
in early February), but is now athletic, dainty and incredibly
friendly.
Flashy and loves people. We are considering keeping her but she
would
be an excellent horse for the right person and Elaine still might be
persuaded
to sell her. She is fearless and shows typical alpha mare
characteristics.
She went for one month of professional training in 2002. They loved
her.
Her current photos do not do her justice: February

CHICO
- The Desert Sheik - 1995 Gelding $6,000
Not for sale.
Chico
(barn name), registered name is "The Desert Sheik".
He is an Egyptian Arab, a joy to own and ride. In 2004 he did
close
to 500 recorded miles of the Pony Express trail on the XP2004 plus many
more unrecorded miles. He also did over 1000 miles of trail
riding
. This is a special and loving horse. He will make a great
companion, trail horse and endurance horse. He has a large trot and can
hold it all day. Pulses down well. He was not campaigned until
this
year. Previously ridden only by women, his first endurance
activity
was in 2004 at age 9. He has lots of years left in him. He did
another
500 miles in 2006, won fourth Mountain Region AERC Pioneer rides.
He has done about 500 miles of training rides so far in 2006, like he
has
for the last three years in a row.
The asking price reflects his value to us, we will keep him if no one is willing to pay the price for this excellent horse. We turned down $4,000 for him previously, turned down $6,000 for him, decided not to sell him, too nice a ride. He is a push button horse that stays centred under you and tries to please. AERC# 36910, only miles in US will show, the Endurance Riders of Alberta (ERA) sanction their own rides. ERA miles will not show in AERC mileage program ERA# 3086.
A great partner for the right rider. We are loathe to give him up but we have too many horses and many young ones to train. Might sell him to the "right" person or might keep him to ride the XP - Mexi-Can ride.
